Teach My Made the Day at our Family Gathering and Can for You Too!

Springtime is normally when we find ourselves outside where the kids can run around and blow off their energy. This year it was only like 42 degrees out for our Easter family get together. So except for a little time outside running around, the kids were stuck inside for most of the day.
So I decided what better time to teach them how to play Hopscotch. (actually, my sister-in-law did). That is what the Teach My Hop and Learn reminds me of. After playing a little hopscotch, Mya (my great niece) enjoyed doing some Yoga poses with my sister-in-law so I did a couple videos and pictures.
Mya is 3 1/2 years old, and I knew she would love to play as the other kids hadn’t come inside yet. So Aunt Niki decided she would teach Mya how to play.
Once the kids came in, they were interested in learning too. You can see in this short video below. Although they didn’t play it like you would normally, it kept them busy, and that was the point. Zak will be 3 in a week, and the older girls are both 7, so it was definitely enjoyable for ages 3 and above. I love how it has the numbers, colors, and shapes which shows just how educational it is. At the same time, the kids are having fun so they really do not realize they are learning.
Mya also did some yoga with Aunt Niki that is on the back of the mat. So I took a video to show how much fun Mya had with Aunt Niki. Honestly, everyone in the room got to laughing because Mya was trying so hard and yet it was so cute (and funny). So while Niki was trying to show her how to do the different letters, Mya tried to copy her and the picture on the mat.
