Everybody needs a best friend, but what if that best friend is your horse? We all need someone that will listen to us and sometimes you just can’t find that in a person.  With having to move away from the city and everything that she knows, Kristen finds solace in a horse whose name is Sanford. You will never look at another horse the same again.  His heart is big and really makes the transition much easier for Kristen as she gets used to the ‘country life’.

If you remember being 13 years old and how hard it was to make friends, you could probably sympathize with Kristen having to move away and start over.  But a horse doesn’t have to decide if they like how you act, what you look like or what you wear to school that day.  As long as you show that horse love it will always choose to be your best friend.

I do not want to spoil anything for you but now you have the background and I am sure you will just love it.  A great family movie night, feel good movie!

My Best Friend comes to DVD on 7/19. You can get your copy on Amazon or at a store near you that sells DVDs.  This film is rated G and is a movie to enjoy with your family.
