Cars 3 Zooms onto Blu-ray DVD on 11/7

Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves.

To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez (voice of Cristela Alonzo), with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!

My Review of Cars 3

While watching Cars 3 I started to realize how much Lightning McQueen’s ‘car life’ at this point in his career mirrors my own.  In my line of work, things are always changing.  If you don’t keep up with what is going on, you will get left behind. This is what Lightning McQueen is facing during Cars 3.

What I took away from this movie is you have to consistently reinvent yourself.  Notice I didn’t say constantly but consistently.  If things aren’t going the way you want then possibly it is time to try something new.  You can keep where you are but you will most likely find yourself just spinning your wheels.

Giving up isn’t an option for me.  You can get upset about what is going on.   But unless you do something about it, you have no one to blame but yourself.  Complaining or trying to game the system isn’t going to get you further faster, it will just leave you frustrated.  You have to consistently keep yourself in the race, and when you find that isn’t working, you may have to then reevaluate what isn’t working and figure out what will for you.  Don’t get left behind because you are afraid of moving forward.
