Disclosure: I received a copy of Born in China in order to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.
Watching Born in China was like visiting China in my own living room. It transported me and made me feel like I was right there among the Pandas, the little monkeys, and their families, and the spotted snow leopard little family. Just to name a few. I never realized just how beautiful China is until watching Born in China.
I will admit I even caught myself smiling and laughing during a few different moments. Then there were a couple times I felt myself hold my breath during a few uptight scenes.
Once you watch you will have to come back and tell me what your favorite animal was in the movie. I will be honest. I couldn’t decide.
BORN IN CHINA takes us to the Far East and the world of three animals native to that country. The first is a snow leopard raising her two cubs on one of the most desolate areas found. Her coloring helping her blend in with her surroundings helps but still doesn’t account for the shortage of game to hunt and thus take care of her family. An intrusion by another set of snow leopards makes things even more difficult.
