Behind the Scenes on the Set of Bizaardvark #BizaardvarkEvent
While we were in LA we had the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the new series BIZAARDVARK.
This new series will premiere on June 24 at 9:45pm EST on Disney Channel. We were also able to interview the cast which will be posted on my site July 7, so keep an eye out. We had to opportunity to have an advanced screening of the show, and I laughed more than I realized I would.
I haven’t had the opportunity to go behind the scenes of a TV show and see how the rooms are set up so I was intrigued, to say the least. I also enjoyed watching the actors rehearse and the director sitting right there. You never think about all that goes into the settings of the scenes, or how many times they have to practice their scenes to get it ‘just right’. I enjoyed the excitement that not only the cast brought to the stage, but how much the director laughed while sitting in his chair helping them to get it just right.
About the show:
The live-action comedy follows Paige and Frankie, quirky best friends who write funny songs and create music comedy videos for their online channel, “Bizaardvark.” Now with 10,000 subscribers, the girls are invited to produce videos at the influential Vuuugle Studios. In this cool environment — and with the help of their friend and aspiring agent Bernie and fellow Vuuugle stars Dirk (of “Dare Me Bro!”) and Amelia (of “Perfect Perfection with Amelia”) — the duo embark on comedic adventures in their quest to take the video blogging world by storm.
Olivia Rodrigo which you might know from (American Girl’s “Grace Stirs up Success”) plays the exciting amped up Paige Olvera. In the show, she plays the guitar and loves to sing. Although she is level-headed she is easy excited which makes her the perfect half of their duo.
Madison Hu from (“Best Friends Whenever”) plays the fun-loving Frankie Wong, Paige’s partner in the fun video show called “Bizaardvark”. They came up with the name while skimming through the dictionary. Frankie plays the keyboard and also loves to sing. With her quick wit and her silliness she definitely completes this fun duo.
Jake Paul (YouTube Red’s “Dance Camp”) as the lovable and wild Dirk Mann, DeVore Ledridge as Southern DIY diva Amelia Duckworth, and Ethan Wacker (“Miles from Tomorrowland,” “K.C. Undercover”) as the overly-confident Bernard “Bernie” Schotz complete this fun line up of actors!
I feel this will be a great show on the Disney Channel. We are in a day and age that social media, technology and of course videos online are just a part of a kid/teens life that this show is perfect for kids/teens everywhere to relate to.
