In Frank Nappi’s “Nobody Has to Know”, Frank takes you into the world of Cameron Baldridge. ‘Cam’ or ‘Mr. Baldridge’ as he is referred to during this story; is a high school English teacher in a relationship with a busy, businesswoman. Plagued by past relationships, Cam can’t quite settle down. Surrounded by teenagers; many who are intrigued by him, you will see that only one intrigues him.
As Cam invites you into his thoughts, his desires, and internal angst; you will find yourself wondering where his decisions will lead him. If his past relationships don’t torture his thoughts enough, his new consuming passion tortures his thoughts even more.
At every turn of the page, you will be hoping he makes the right decision. When Cam lets himself succumb to his newest desires, you will see how this biggest decision will change his life forever. This decision is when everything changes and the book really grips you and won’t let you go.
I applaud Frank Nappi for the thought and time he put into this book. It will definitely make you wonder if you really know those that you surround yourself with. The words “Nobody Has to Know” will most likely take on a whole new meaning after reading this story.
